Dimensional engineers use data from customer feedback, internal quality checks (like GCA & A/B/C/FVS), and other sources to identify areas for improvement.
They collaborate with production, maintenance, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address dimensional issues and implement solutions.
They support and implement quality standards, including BIQ IV, the 6 Pillars of Quality, and process control plans.
They use systems like GDIS and Dimensional Data Manager to analyze dimensional data and track trends.
Dimensional engineers may lead or support projects related to tooling, equipment, and processes for achieving dimensional accuracy

- bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or 4 years of experience
- 3d scan systems experience with either CMM, ENOS, percetron, Faro, scanworks
-hands on with skilled trades
