We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wireless Engineer to join our internal lab testing team. In this role, the engineer is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of wireless technologies through rigorous testing and collaboration. A typical day involves staying current with frequent software and firmware releases, executing multiple test cases to validate performance and functionality, and reporting any issues or bugs encountered. The position is primarily lab-based, with a focus on ensuring wireless devices such as routers and modems are properly integrated and functioning within internal systems. Daily status meetings help maintain alignment across teams, while collaboration with stakeholders is essential for gathering requirements and translating them into actionable testing strategies.
Pay Range: $40-48 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. 3+ years of experience as a manual tester on wireless CPE devices
Hands on experience utilizing API tools (Postman or SOAP API)
Test gathering and logging experience with Splunk or DataDog
Test case inventory management experience (Octane, HPALM, TestRail, or related)
Full lifecycle testing experience (Regression, Integration, End to End)
Test case creation, documentation, and execution experience
Ticketing experience (Jira preferred)
