Job Description

A large telecom company is looking for a skilled React Architect / Engineer to be the main resource for a new project.

They are building a new application to replace an existing low-code platform. The
current tool has its own UI but is limited by its low-code nature. They're migrating to a code-forward architecture that will consist of a rules engine on the backend with a React-based front end serving complex data to users. This is a greenfield project being developed as a proof
of concept with the intent to scale it into an enterprise-grade application. The work is being done quietly in the background and is not widely known across the organization.

- Architect and build a React front end from scratch, including defining the
project structure, tooling, and development patterns
- Map a complex data model from the existing low-code platform onto the new UI,
ensuring all properties and data relationships are properly represented
- Collaborate directly with design and product owners to shape the user
experience
- Establish and enforce code quality through peer reviews, merge request
workflows, and coding standards in GitLab
- Define the GitLab branching strategy, including how non-developer teams can
safely create and manage branches
- Implement security best practices and accessibility compliance (WCAG) within
the application
- Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain code quality throughout the development
lifecycle
- Leverage AI tooling (specifically Kiro) for code generation, and critically
review AI-generated output for correctness and quality
- Think strategically about how to take a proof of concept and scale it into a
production-ready, enterprise-grade application
