Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join their client’s Finance team and be a part of one of the largest distillers in the US for premium distilled spirits. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the month-end close process for the branded spirits arm of the company. Responsibilities will include executing the close process and ensuring books are closed within 7 days. The majority of the closing will be in the first 2 weeks of every month. This person will also be responsible for preparing journal entries using their ERP system, Epicore, and inputting the entries into the system. They’ll need to be prepared to take on ad hoc tasks to relieve workload from other team members and help improve efficiency. Training will take place the first 1.5 weeks and the expectation will be that they are onsite all 5 days during that time. After that, they are able to work form home on Fridays.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (recent graduates welcome) OR 2+ years of accounting experience
Strong analytical skills to interpret and validate financial data.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
Ability to work under pressure during close periods and maintain accuracy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Epicore or any ERP system
