Job Description

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer with strong test automation experience and prior hands-on experience applying AI-assisted testing practices. In this role, you will help validate global eCommerce experiences and retail associate tools while working with both our established Selenium-based automation framework and our next-generation AI-enabled testing platform. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, designers, and fellow Quality Engineers to design reliable, maintainable, risk-based tests that protect the customer experience at scale. If you are a strong Quality Engineer who has already used AI to improve test design, automation, exploratory testing, or diagnostics, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of quality engineering in a global commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute, maintain, and improve automated test suites using the existing Selenium-based framework and the emerging AI-enabled testing platform.
• Write and maintain clear, reusable automated tests using Gherkin feature files, BDD practices, and step definitions implemented in C# and JavaScript.
• Apply AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test design, identify edge cases, support exploratory testing, and prioritize risk areas.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to translate business requirements into maintainable test scenarios that reflect real-world customer and associate behavior.
• Validate omni-channel workflows such as BOPIS, BORIS, Endless Aisle, and Membership across eCommerce and in-store systems.
• Analyze defects, investigate root causes, and contribute to release readiness decisions by clearly communicating quality risks, test results, and open issues.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers across approximately 15 scrum teams to promote consistent test coverage, shared standards, and effective quality practices across eCommerce and retail platforms.
• Serve as an AI testing advocate by evaluating practical AI tools and techniques that improve test design, automation maintainability, diagnostics, and exploratory testing effectiveness.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
