Job Description

This role will take functional requirements from the business and develop them in Power BI. The Senior Power BI Developer is indirectly responsible for reviewing bespoke creations and finding ways to make them reusable components. The goal is to create modular Power BI solutions. They will use DAX Optimizer to identify bottlenecks in the dashboards. Additionally, they will integrate and process large datasets using Python and PySpark, and utilize strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data from various sources. The developer will also leverage GitHub to manage and reuse BI code effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5+ years of Power BI development experience
Proficiency in using DAX Optimizer or Tableau
Enterprise Level Environment
Using SQL to pull data from Databricks
Uploading PowerBI Dashboards into GitHub
Strong SQL skills
Basic Python Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Databricks or Snowflake
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Certification in Power BI or related technologies
