Job Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and building toolchains and workflows to enable self-service capabilities for software engineering teams. You will develop and maintain an Internal Developer Platform that supports the entire application lifecycle, enhancing operational efficiency and empowering developers. Your role involves defining technical requirements, soliciting feedback, and ensuring code reusability. You will work within an agile methodology to implement and maintain infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems, while enforcing security standards. Additionally, you will lead innovation, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring the development of high-quality, data-driven machine learning systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of professional experience in one of the following fields: Software Development, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering
2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Services
2+ years of experience in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
2+ years of experience in containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
2+ years of experience in Infra as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, etc.)
2+ years of experience in observability (Datadog, Grafana, etc.)
Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
Git & GitHub fundamentals.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Technical Planning (Azure DevOps)
Data Engineering Platform (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
Data Orchestration (Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
MLOps Expertise
