Job Description

Insight Global Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team in supporting a Pediatric Specialty Care Hospital in St. Louis, MO . This person will need to be a team player and have great attention to detail when triaging patients, obtaining medical history, medication reconciliation, documentation, and collecting patient assessment data to notify RN of potential problems. In addition, the LPN will be responsible for orienting and educating patients & family members on care plans while always being compassionate and serving as a patient advocate to ensure quality of care.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

- Currently licensed or as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or willing to get within the first 2 months of hire

- 4+ years of recent nursing experience

- Experience with Phlebotomy

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Venipuncture

- Previous outpatient clinic experience
