Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and communicative Java Developer experienced with Apache Camel K to join our integration team. The responsibility is for this person to know databases (warehouse and transactional) as a lot of the work involves moving data from dB A to db B. They will migrate existing ETL workflows from Mulesoft to Apache Camel K, addressing and refactoring complex legacy codebases. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with QA teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless integration processes

Day-to-day:
Analyze and migrate existing ETL processes from Mulesoft to Apache Camel K.
Refactor and optimize legacy code for improved maintainability and performance.
Collaborate with QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues.
Develop and maintain integration routes using Apache Camel K on Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide updates.
Document integration solutions and maintain technical documentation for ongoing support.

Must-Have:
Java Development: Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in developing integration solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex codebases and identify effective refactoring strategies.
Collaboration: Experience working closely with QA teams and other developers in an agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Java Development: Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in developing integration solutions.
Experiences with transactional databases (ms sql or postgres sql) & warehouse databases(snowflake or databricks)
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex codebases and identify effective refactoring strategies.
Collaboration: Experience working closely with QA teams and other developers in an agile environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Apache Camel K: Hands-on experience with Apache Camel K, including route design and deployment.
Mulesoft Experience: Familiarity with Mulesoft, particularly in migrating or integrating Mulesoft workflows.
Kubernetes/OpenShift: Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms.
Integration Patterns: Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and their implementation using Apache Camel.
