Job Description

A nationwide healthcare provider is seeking 2 fully remote Healthcare EHR Project Manager to join the team of 1 program manager and 5 project managers. This person will manage EHR health information exchange related projects - Cerner, Allscripts, and Epic. Most projects are 12-18 months. Need someone who can come in withing 30 days and run projects without support and work independently.

Serve as a project manager that reports to the Seamless Care Program Manager
Provide overall management of assigned projects from concept to completion
Need to be highly experienced in EHR delivery and managing multiple projects end to end
Needs to have experience working with/overseeing a product development team(s) within a healthcare/provider environment, preferably an enterprise healthcare system
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, business, clinical, technical, and vendors, ensuring every detail is taken care of, driving toward on-time delivery.
Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resourcesincluding third-party vendors
Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as neededescalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
Ensures open lines of communication for all team members
Ensure the correct resources are identified and are actively involved
At times will need to take the initiative and track down the correct resources

Responsibilities:
Collaborate across teams to develop planning material and estimates
Own project methodology deliverables, including schedule, charter and forecast
Project Operations up to and including Activation and transition to Operations
Drive effort and seek clarity on barriers
Proactively manage issues / risks and document as such
Forecasting of resources and other project costs and support of financial cycle
Project team meetings (minutes where needed, issues, risks, milestones, and timelines)
Weekly status reporting (4-Square / Dashboards / PRM / etc)
Standards application (PMO / Program) - Document compliance (Project Artifacts)

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years in Healthcare EHR Project Management
2-3 years working with HIE (Health Information Exchange) related projects
5-7 years with Cerner, AllScripts, and/or Epic EHR systems
Waterfall and/or Agile knowledge

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Smartsheets or ServiceNow experience
PMP cert
