Job Description

The Data Engineer will be an integral part of the product development cycle, responsible for creating features and developing tables and hydration procedures in a Databricks environment. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL, as it is the core language for interacting with data. They will be taking features to translate them into technical development by creating SQL tables, stored procedures, orchestration of these products. The engineer will also work with Python and PySpark to build and manage data transformations. Additionally, they will learn about the domain context to effectively build data transformations.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of professional experience
Advanced in SQL, with the ability to read and write complex queries, stored procedures, optimization, partitioning, indexing, etc.
Databricks or snowflake experience
Python/pyspark preferred, but open to any backend programming language
Bachelor's Degree
