A client of Insight Global is looking for a Structural Designer to join their team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will be responsible for utility design creation and modification, specifically pertaining to substation or transmission line projects. Creating layouts and plans, the Structural Designer will utilize Autodesk functions to create or modify sketches displaying grading, conduit, lighting, equipment, foundations, steel, etc. as it relates to project scope and requirements. This individual will be reporting onsite at least 1 day/week.
5+ years of experience creating and modifying structural designs via AutoCAD for utility projects

Prior experience creating and modifying structural designs via AutoCAD for utility projects
Associates Degree in structural design, architectural design, or a related field
Experience in a structural design role in the utility industry for transmission, distribution, or substation projects
