Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Home Loan Specialist to support the review, preparation, and compliance of mortgage loan files throughout the closing and post-closing lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring loan documentation, disclosures, and borrower communications meet regulatory, investor, and internal guidelines, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and investor salability.
The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle, investor requirements, and Net Tangible Benefit (NTB) standards.
The Home Loan Specialist will review loan files prior to closing, prepare and validate closing packages and disclosures, and identify and resolve documentation or compliance issues that could impact funding or investor delivery. This role partners closely with origination, underwriting, closing, post-closing, and servicing teams to ensure seamless loan handoff, timely loan sale, and servicing transfer. Success in this position requires at least two years of experience in mortgage closing, post-closing, compliance, or investor delivery, along with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in mortgage closing, post‑closing, compliance, or investor delivery
• Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, disclosures, and loan lifecycle
• Familiarity with investor guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA)
• Understanding of Net Tangible Benefit (NTB) requirements
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
