Technical Business Analyst

Insight Global is looking to hire 2 Technical Business Analysts for our client in the St. Louis, MO area. These individuals will report directly into the Solution Architect and serve as their right‑hand partner, owning the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and requirements. On a day‑to‑day basis, this person will take architecture and solution documents provided by Solution Architects and turn them into clear, structured deliverables including technical specs, Swagger API documentation, flow diagrams, BPMNs, and architectural diagrams.
This role is highly collaborative and requires strong communication skills, as the individual will regularly sit down with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical documentation, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams. The team is currently operating in a cloud‑based environment and preparing for a migration to GCP in the coming year, so comfort supporting evolving technical landscapes is important.
This position is not focused on hands‑on development, validations, or running test scripts. Instead, the role sits on both the business analyst and architecture sides of the plate, supporting architecture‑level documentation and ensuring solutions are clearly defined, well documented, and ready for execution. This role is 4 days on site and 1 remote.

3 + years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting solution architecture or technical teams
Strong documentation experience producing:
Business and technical requirements
Technical specifications
API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Flow diagrams, BPMNs, and architecture diagrams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with both business and technical stakeholders
Experience gathering requirements by sitting with the business to understand needs and translate them into clear technical documentation
Hands‑on experience using Jira for documentation and requirements tracking

Experience in the ordering or credit space
Some development background or technical foundation
Exposure to or experience supporting Solution Architects or acting as a Solution Architect’s counterpart
Experience with Chalk or Lucidchart for documentation and diagrams
Background supporting cloud environments, especially GCP or cloud migrations
