Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to join our client’s team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will be supporting a team of four other Tableau Administrators and will play a key role in managing and optimizing Tableau Server environments across Linux and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting Tableau and workflow issues, monitoring and tuning performance across the Tableau tech stack, and ensuring successful server backups. The role requires someone who can hold technical conversations with developers, architects, and IT stakeholders, and who can take ownership of critical infrastructure tasks. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
This role is 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working with Tableau Server, including administration and troubleshooting.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux and AWS environments.
Proven success in migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
Deep understanding of the Tableau tech stack, including performance monitoring and tuning.
Experience optimizing Tableau performance within AWS.
Ability to ensure successful server backups and maintain server health.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams including developers, architects, and IT personnel
