Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add a Release Train Engineer to our client' team in the St. Louis, MO or Denver, CO area. This individual will be working with a team of 10 others made up of Software Delivery Managers, Portfolio Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Defect Coordinators. This individual will be responsible for overseeing entire releases, supporting around 100 features per month, 1 major release monthly, and 2-3 minor releases weekly, switching between major and minor releases. This person will be responsible for helping lead team calls on the releases, overseeing and following dashboards, understanding what systems are down, what projects are at risk, then moving to defect coordinators and understanding what defects there are. This person will also manage the release schedule, progress of the releases, and updates with the end goal meeting the release date. This individual must understand what projects are at risk and why. One of the 2 positions are expected to work closely with the technical teams and have a technical background and ability to communicate with technical teams and be responsible for the toggle. There will be occasional situations where the Release Train Engineer will be responsible for acting as a true PM and see the project from start to finish. This role is 3 days on site and 2 remote while on contract.

10+ years of IT Project Management experience
Experience overseeing project releases
Comfortable working in an agile and waterfall hybrid environment
Strong communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SAFe certified
Technical background
