We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team, focusing on the Point of Sale (POS) systems that support our retail operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems that mirror in-store environments, including billing and payment functionalities. As a POS Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining comprehensive test cases aligned with upcoming software releases. You will assess whether regression testing is required, ensure adequate test coverage, and monitor the pass/fail status of existing test suites. A key part of your role will involve identifying and flagging defects, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution, and communicating progress through detailed status reports.
Your work will include hands-on testing of POS systems, simulating real-world retail scenarios, and validating integrations with billing and payment platforms.
Pay Range: $35 - 40 / hr

3 years of experience with manual API testing (Point of Sale, Electronic Payments, or Retail environment)
Test case inventory management experience (Octane, HPALM, TestRail, or related)
Full lifecycle testing experience (Regression, Integration, End to End)
Test case creation, documentation, and execution experience
Ticketing experience (Jira preferred)
