Job Description
Junior–Mid Level Project Manager (Server & Compute PMO)
Overview
We are supporting a large telecom organization within their Server and Compute (Infrastructure) organization, which is undergoing a critical migration to a new Line of Business (LOB) with more structured governance, controls, and operating models.
This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level Project Manager or a high-potential candidate looking to grow into project management, who excels in communication, follow‑through, and navigating resistance. The primary focus will be driving infrastructure teams through defined onboarding and migration workflows, ensuring compliance with required operating model standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned migration initiatives for server, compute, and storage infrastructure teams as they transition into a new, more structured LOB.
Drive teams through required governance and operating model workflows, ensuring applications and infrastructure are properly registered in systems of record.
Actively chase deliverables, enforce deadlines, and remove blockers, including persistent follow‑up with teams that are slow to engage or resistant to change.
Coordinate and track integration and repointing activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure standards.
Ensure applications and infrastructure meet required controls, including:
Backup and recovery schedules
Documented processes and ownership
Proper onboarding and compliance documentation
Serve as the central point of coordination between infrastructure teams, PMO leadership, and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and milestone tracking.
Support change management efforts by reinforcing expectations, timelines, and accountability.

Solid understanding of project lifecycle concepts (scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio; MS Project is a plus).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Exposure to infrastructure environments (server, compute, storage, or data center concepts).
Experience working within governance-heavy or regulated operating models.
Background in roles that required persuasion, follow‑up, or accountability (PMO analyst, coordinator, operations, client services, etc.).
