Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer to add to a strong existing team with a large Telecommunications company. This individual needs to possess expertise in a wide range of technologies including Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, Oracle Database, Angular, React, as well as REST and SOAP services. The developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions that meet the needs of company clients and stakeholders. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that drive business value. Some responsibilities will consist of designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Spring Boot and Java, ensuring scalability, performance, and security implementing message-driven architectures using Kafka for real-time event processing and communication between microservices, developing and optimizing database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for Oracle Database, ensuring data integrity and performance, designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications using Angular and React, delivering intuitive and responsive user experiences, and integrating with and consuming external RESTful and SOAP services, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange. This role will be 75% backend, and 25% frontend.
