Facilities Project Manager

Insight Global is looking to add a Facilities Project Manager to their client’s IT Corporate Connectivity organization. This person will be the central point of coordination for multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on hardware and facilities components such as low voltage systems and audio/video installations. This person will work on networking, infrastructure, and data center related projects so needs to have prior experience with these types of projects. The role is approximately 80% meeting facilitation and stakeholder alignment, and 20% hands-on project updates and management. You will lead daily meetings, capture detailed notes, and drive cross-functional alignment across IT delivery teams and business stakeholders. Your responsibilities include managing project scope, schedule, and quality, translating technical requirements (e.g., network, servers, application support) into actionable plans, and proactively identifying and resolving risks. You’ll provide executive-level status updates and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. In a fast-paced environment, you’ll organize and prioritize competing tasks and dependencies, applying project management fundamentals and tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Jira.

5+ years of experience in Facilities/IT Infrastructure Project Management
Strong background in infrastructure, including scheduling physical installs (routers and switches)
Proficiency with Microsoft Project
Ticketing system experience – using Cherwell right now but this is going away in a couple months
Receiving tickets, they’ll take ownership and assign the tasks that are created to the correct individuals

PMP certification
Jira
Telecom industry experience
