Job Description
The Epic Optime & Supply Chain Architect will support and optimize perioperative and supply chain workflows within the Epic environment, with a strong focus on Optime functionality and surgical item master management. This role partners closely with supply chain, IT, and clinical stakeholders to ensure accurate item setup, inventory alignment, and effective ERP integrations. Day to day, the consultant will troubleshoot build issues, assess item master synchronization impacts, and recommend best practices for master data management. The role will also contribute to system enhancements, workflow optimization, and future-state design aligned with operational needs. This is a part-time, 20-hours-per-week contract role with an initial six-month engagement and potential for extension.

Required Skills & Experience
Epic Optime Architect with 5+ years of hands-on experience
Strong Epic Optime and Supply Chain implementation and support experience
Proven experience supporting or managing Surgical Item Master workflows
Solid understanding of ERP integrations, including item master synchronization impacts
Deep knowledge of master data management, including item/location hierarchies, locators, inventory builds, supply build, and manufacturer data
Ability to work 20 hours per week on a 6-month initial contract (with potential for extension)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Epic Rover
Prior healthcare system or large integrated delivery network (IDN) experience
Experience supporting perioperative or surgical services environments
Background collaborating with supply chain, clinical, and IT stakeholders
