Job Description

A state and local client is looking for an Automotive Mechanic to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance and repair services on a fleet of vehicles such as police cars, dump trucks, semi-trucks, trailers, and more large equipment. This role requires a CDL certification.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Truck or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license
- CDL- Class A certification
- Experience working on Diesel equipment
- Experience performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- ASE certification
- Experience working on Ford vehicles
- MAC certification
- Trade School Experience
