Job Description

A client of Insight Global is actively seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor in the Kansas City area to evaluate & monitor health & safety hazards & develop control strategies for electrical utilities job sites. Approximately 70% of the time you will be traveling to sites across Kansas for the day with the occasional overnight stay (about twice per month) You will have a company vehicle provided to you. This position will require you to inspect construction workplaces to ensure compliance with company / client policies & procedures as well as government legislation & industry best practice standards.

Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and manage the companys health, safety, and environmental policies.
· Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
· Provide advice and guidance to staff and contractors on HSE matters.
· Deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
· Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify their causes and propose preventive measures.
· Prepare reports on HSE performance.
· Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the company is up-to-date with all relevant HSE legislation.

Required Skills & Experience

· 2-5 years of experience with HSE (Heath, Safety, Environmental) in construction, utilities, and/or electrical project sites
· Valid driver's license & clean driving record
· Strong time management skills
Personable

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· BS in Safety Management, Occupational Safety and Heath, Construction Management or related field
· OSHA 30 certification
CPR training
