Job Description
• Insight Global is seeking a Front-End Developer in the Kansas City, MO area. This role supports a finance application being built for the company. The developer will work closely with analysts, QA testers, and end users to ensure the application meets business needs. The team operates in an Agile environment with two teams sharing resources. Daily responsibilities include reviewing user stories, working on tickets, and collaborating with a project manager and solutions architect to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will be comfortable showing progress regularly and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced development team.

Required Skills & Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years' experience using Svelte (or a similar JavaScript framework such as React or Vue)
• Proven experience working within a team using agile practices to deliver working, well tested, and maintainable software.
• Experience developing web applications
• Strong understanding of API's and how to implement them
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of Python development, debugging, and testing
• Experience working on back-end interfaces
• Proficient with SQL and basic database design principles
• A good understanding of containerization and cloud infrastructure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
