Job Description

Customer Service Representative – Knoxville, TN

Our client is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join their growing team in their new Knoxville, TN office. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with numbers and customers. The role begins on May 18th with training held at the company’s headquarters in Kansas City. The company will fly you out and all expenses will be paid that week, then the following week and on will be in Knoxville full time. The starting salary is $50,000. Ideal candidates are reliable, customer-focused, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone. The position will begin fully onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the potential to transition into a hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days remote once training and ramp-up are complete. The company operates within the real estate and insurance industries.

Overview:
Responsibilities include processing accounts receivable payments, supporting collections efforts, and following up on past-due accounts with professionalism. Representatives will answer client billing questions via phone and email, monitor receivables, and assist with month-end closing activities. Additional duties include coordinating non-payment cancellations in accordance with company guidelines, assisting with escrow billing for renewals, deposits, refunds, and large client requests, maintaining accurate records, protecting confidential information, and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence and diplomacy when working with clients on billing and payment matters
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
