Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AI Engineer to work onsite for one of our customers in the Kansas City, MO area. In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing AI models and algorithms from scratch. They are looking to implement AI that integrates with business systems and enhances the user interaction as well as the functionality of the system itself. This will be a collaborative role in the sense that this person will be working directly with the software engineers and data team to integrate the AI into the architecture. This person will also be responsible for managing the data flow and infrastructure to ensure that AI deployment is effective. The design aspect will include prototyping, flow mapping, testing and training. It will be important that when in this role, this person stay up to date with AI trends that will may impact future improvements of the systems. Cross functional communication will be essential in this role when it comes to advising the business and leadership on strategy, policy issues that come with AI, as well as overall technology.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience as an AI engineer
• Experience with machine learning tools that support end-to-end machine learning lifecycle
○ Has previously implemented LLM's (large language models), ex: GPT, Llama or similar
○ Has previously used the ML tool Langchain
• Hands on experience with GenAI practices for deployment, operation, and support.
• Experience working in an azure cloud environment and using docker, Kubernetes or similar to create scalable environments
• Development and design experience: REST API, NoSQL, and RDBMS (relational database management systems)
○ Ex: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle
• Understands object oriented programming
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar
• Azure AI certification
