Our client is looking for a tech to help facilitate the design, installation, programming, and commissioning of low voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures. This role requires a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure the ecient and reliable installation of complex building automation systems in military installations.
· Travel up to 100% is to multiple states to perform work at various military installations.
· Developing control programs for various HVAC applications
· Implementing and testing of control programs
· Perform pre-commissioning and nal commissioning of building automation systems.
· Coordinating the takeover and/or completing the installation of Building Automation Systems
· Communicating eectively with on-site personnel to ensure the Statement of Objectives (SOO) aligns with customer or contractual requirements.
· Participating in site meetings and providing progress reports on the status of the job.
· Strictly adhering to all safety standards of the customer.

A proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or control systems is required, with at least 3 years of direct involvement in integration, checkout, testing, commissioning, and eld support of DDC based automation systems.
Proven track record with experience in programming HVAC application specic controllers from scratch to meet requirements as outlined in a sequence of operation.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems.
Strong Knowledge of both serial and IP-based networks and various building automation communication protocols and systems is highly preferred, including but not limited to Niagara Tridium, BACnet, LonWorks and Modbus
Display competence in reviewing specication and design drawings for control, electrical, and mechanical applications, while adhering to industry standards and best practices
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also providing guidance and support to other team members.
Ability to eciently organize and lay out jobsite activities, including material takeos and ordering specications.
Willing to travel 100% is crucial, as this role often necessitates engagement at various locations.
A valid drivers license with clean driving record is mandatory.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance REQUIRED.
Prociency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Vision, and Excel
Niagara 4 Technical Certication (Strongly Preferred)
Honeywell Spyder 7 Factory Certication
Distech Controls Applications and Controllers Certication
AutoCAD experience
Ability to assist in the development and design of controls drawings
