Job Description

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce professional to lead DevOps practices and manage their Copado implementation. This role also serves as a Senior Salesforce System Administrator, responsible for overseeing release management, maintaining DevOps best practices, and mentoring team members.

ey Responsibilities
DevOps & Release Management

Lead end-to-end release management using Copado
Configure and maintain Copado pipelines, quality gates, and automation
Enforce DevOps best practices (version control, CI/CD, deployment)
Manage sandbox refreshes and environment syncs
Document deployment processes
Coordinate releases with the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
Salesforce Administration

Provide senior-level Salesforce platform support
Manage security settings, profiles, and permission sets
Configure and maintain Salesforce features and customizations
Monitor system performance and ensure data quality
Leadership & Mentoring

Mentor team members on DevOps and Salesforce standards
Lead Copado training sessions
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
Establish and enforce coding standards

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
5+ years of Salesforce administration experience
2+ years of DevOps experience (preferably with Copado)
Salesforce Platform Administrator certification
Strong understanding of Git and version control
Experience with Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience with change management and release coordination

Technical Skills
Copado (administration, configuration, best practices)
Salesforce (configuration, customization, administration)
Git, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce
ETL tools (e.g., Data Loader)
Change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

Core Competencies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Leadership and mentoring capabilities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, Advanced Administrator)
Experience with Copado Robotic Testing
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and automated testing
Background in training and mentoring technical teams
