Job Description

The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and serve as a key liaison between leadership, stakeholders, and university partners. This role is responsible for managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing reports and presentations, handling correspondence, planning executive-level events, and maintaining strict confidentiality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. This position requires reliable onsite attendance Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Required Skills & Experience

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office gadgets
and virtual meeting tools.
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably with CEO or C-Suite level support.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence, reports, and interacting with
various stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience creating and fostering collaborative relationships with broad stakeholders.
