Job Description

An agricultural client of Insight Global is looking to add a Construction Manager to their team. The ideal candidate has experience managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves managing resources, scheduling, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Understanding of electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, MCCs, power distribution, instrumentation, controls)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and QA/ QC processes for electrical systems.
- Strong PM skills (planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management.)
- Coordinate with contractors to maintain a complete set of a built project drawing.
- Knowledge of the design intent, process flows and process equipment functions pertaining to scope of work.
- Approve and track expenditures, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Proven experience managing large scale electrical construction projects (commercial, industrial, or power systems)
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify any defects or issues.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working as an owner's rep
- OSHA 30 certification
- PE, PMP, or CCM
