Job Description
An employer of Insight Global is looking to add an Electrical Test Technician to their team in the Berkely, MO area. This role supports developmental test labs by rapidly building and modifying electrical hardware used to test complex systems. Day‑to‑day work includes fabricating and assembling cables, wire harnesses, electrical chassis (“black boxes” filled with components), and electronics racks. This person will be setting up and supporting system‑level testing of externally supplied hardware, executing tests, collecting and documenting data, and troubleshooting electrical and lab‑related issues. The role works hands‑on in an electrical lab environment, supporting test preparation, setup, checkout, teardown, and ongoing lab activities while working independently with general direction.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience building electrical products
Hands‑on experience building:
• Wire harnesses and cables
• Electrical chassis / black boxes
• Electronics racks and hubs
Strong electrical fabrication skills (cutting wires, installing pins into connectors, assembling cables)
Experience working in an electrical or test lab environment
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and test‑related issues independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience designing or fabricating custom test systems
Background supporting developmental labs, test & evaluation, or manufacturing test environments
