Job Description
Our client is looking for a Pharmacist to work in their Family Pharmacy. We are looking for someone who is open to learning our culture and work ethic, while eager to grow with us. Key Responsibilities
• Accurately verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions
• Provide counseling to patients on medications, use, side effects and correct administration
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Optimize medication use by using MTM (Medication Therapy Management) services
• Help in ordering, receiving and managing drug and supply inventory
• Communicating with providers about medications/prescriptions as needed
• Collaborating with the team – helping technicians, answering phones, brainstorming ways to better the store, checking out customers, all workflow responsibilities, etc.
• Immunization administration in pharmacy and external clinics
