Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems, ensuring robust and secure communication networks for a customer in Pascagoula, MS.
Duties include:
• Design and implement network architecture for shipboard C5ISR systems
• Ensure secure and reliable shipboard communication networks design
• Coordinate with government customers and OEM vendors for network requirements
• Conduct network performance analysis and optimization
• Support the development and review of network-related documentation and design reviews
Compensation:
$55-70/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Cybersecurity Workforce Level II cert i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP. Or must be willing to obtain/pass certification within 90 days of hire
• Vendor operating system certification such as Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, or Linux
• Education: Bachelor in Science in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related field
• Ability to work onsite at a shipyard 5 day per week.
• Five (5) years of Network Engineering experience and extensive knowledge C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR shipboard systems and architecture
• Demonstrates familiarity and understanding of all subject areas in Certification and Accreditation (C&A)
• Proficiency in network architecture design and implementation
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Ability to conduct network performance analysis and optimization
• Knowledge of and experience with evaluating networking functional requirements
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Experience supporting projects in a Shipyard environment
