Job Description

As the PE Assistant Manager, you will oversee and coach the Seat Assembly Production Engineering team, ensuring smooth production processes. Your responsibilities include developing and evaluating process plans and production preparation, managing tool and equipment sourcing, design, and installation. You will also track and control budget activities, reporting to management as needed. Additionally, you will organize data and promptly address production issues to maintain efficiency in automotive manufacturing. 50/50 hands on and management.

Required Skills & Experience

Associates Degree in Engineering +
6+ years of relevant experience (Manufacturing, automation, process, etc)
2+ years supervisory/management experience
Uses problem solving methodology daily (PFEMA, FEMA, A3, 8D, TB8D, 5 Why, etc.)
Leadership mentality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Automotive industry experience
AutoCad experience for 2D diagrams
