Job Description

The Director of Information Technology, Security & Compliance provides senior-level leadership over enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, export compliance, and facility security within a highly regulated environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. government regulations, safeguarding sensitive and controlled information, and maintaining secure, resilient technology operations that support business and customer requirements.
This leader serves as a key point of contact for audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments, while partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to manage risk, drive continuous improvement, and align technology with organizational strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
Extensive experience in progressive IT leadership roles
Demonstrated background in regulated industries such as government contracting, defense, aerospace, or manufacturing
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance frameworks

Technical & Compliance Expertise

Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and business systems
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, governance, and risk management
Experience managing regulated, export-controlled, or sensitive information
Familiarity with physical security programs and compliance-driven environments

Core Competencies

Strategic leadership combined with operational execution
Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
Proven ability to manage overlapping regulatory and compliance requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Information security or risk management certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+)
Export compliance, governance, or facility security–related certifications
