Job Description

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support a Precision Machine Manufacturing client local to the Twin Cities area. This Manager will support the complete cycle of material flow--from the purchase of materials to the planning of work to the packaging and delivery of the finished product. This position ensures that RSI has materials needed to satisfy the demands of customers while balancing the needs of the organization. The Supply Chain Manager focuses on efforts to minimize waste, manage inventory levels, and ensure output is in line with the company's financial goals, budget, and balance sheet. Additionally, this position provides leadership and direction for the Scheduling, Supply Chain, and Shipping/Receiving/Inventory teams.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

· 5 years' experience in materials management in a manufacturing environment

· 5 years' experience in a management role

· High level experience working with ERP Systems

· Certification/experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma

· Experience with ISO requirements

· Working knowledge of SAP

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· 4+years of Procurement or Purchasing experience.

· Experience with optimization of inventory control
