Job Description

One of Insight Global's largest Pharmacy Benefit Clients is seeking an IBM i-series specialist to join the Production and Release team for the client's Claims system. The role is focused on Production and Release of updates for the product platform. A candidate must possess experience within the product release and off cycle work environment. The role requires someone to work weekdays and weekends, and this is done on a CST basis. This role requires someone who can not only Administrate but also functionally execute on the IBM i platform. On a day-to-day perspective someone in this role will be preparing for upcoming quarterly releases and occasional off cycle-code deployments. This individual will be executing on the deployment, interacting with Management/Team Members, and will have direct involvement with the team's manager, departments director, and other stakeholders. An excellent communicator and self-driven individual would be a great fit for this role.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ Years of IBM I-Series Exp. In Production Release Mgmt./Deployment

* Coding skills in Visual Basic, 2E, IBM i Shell Scripts, CL and SQL

* MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS (Rotating shift for weekend and quarterly releases)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Exp. With large file conversions in the IBM i environment

* Exp. In Pharmacy Benefit Management/Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals

* Excellent Communication and Professional personality

* MIMIX and MIMIX Promoter

* MKS Experience (IBM I Change Management tool)
