Job Description

Data Security for our client consists of enterprise solutions for data discovery, data classification, data protection, and the associated policies, procedures, training, and communication required to protect the company's data across the network and cloud. The Global IT Cybersecurity - Senior Technical Writer is responsible for creating, editing, reviewing, and presenting comprehensive documentation related to our data security tools, policies, user communication, and training. You will work closely with our cyber security experts to ensure that all documentation meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and relevance. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' understanding and utilization of our data security tools.



Key responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain technical documentation for data security tools, processes, training, and services, including user guides, manuals, policy documents, and SOPs

· Collaborate with cyber security engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for documentation

· Review and edit technical documents for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and consistency

· Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language for various audiences including senior level managers

· Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date with the latest product releases and security guidelines

· Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking, to meet deadlines

· Present documentation in various formats, such as text documents, slideshows, and infographics

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong focus on cyber security or related technology fields

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to understand and document complex technical concepts and processes

- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

Familiarity with cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices
