Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will lead cross functional, business and IT facing initiatives from initiation through closure, acting as a functional project manager accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and resource coordination. The role focuses on facilitation, collaboration, and execution rather than hands on technical delivery. This individual will work across multiple teams and stakeholders to translate outcomes into clear plans and ensure consistent, predictable delivery.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for:
• Project Planning & Execution
o Define and manage project scope, milestones, delivery timelines, and dependencies
o Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdowns, and delivery roadmaps
• Financial & Resource Management
o Own project forecasting, budget tracking, and variance management
o Coordinate internal and external resources to support delivery commitments
• Stakeholder & Cross Team Facilitation
o Facilitate working sessions, status reviews, and decision forums
o Serve as the connective tissue between business partners, delivery teams, vendors, and leadership
• Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management
o Identify, track, and drive resolution of risks, issues, and cross team dependencies
o Proactively escalate when delivery, scope, or financial targets are at risk
• Communication & Reporting
o Provide clear, concise status reporting to leadership and stakeholders
o Ensure decisions, actions, and next steps are well documented and clearly owned
• Governance & Delivery Discipline
o Ensure alignment with established project management standards and governance
o Drive accountability for commitments and delivery outcomes

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience as technical Project Manager
- PMO and Project Governance Experience
- Customer domain project delivery background and Enterprise Data environment experience
- Multimillion dollar project financial management or greater
- Vendor/SI Management Experience – providing financial control and aggressively driving vendor to meet date and budget commitments.
- Agile and Waterfall project experience
- Excellent communication & ability to be a driver & take ownership of the project plans
