Job Description

Our client is looking to stand up a Project Management Office (PMO) with the objective of creating a centralized department that establishes and maintains project management standards, processes, and best practices within an organization for electric distribution projects and operations. The primary goal is to ensure projects are executed efficiently, align with organizational objectives, and achieve desired outcomes.

Evergreen is looking to hire a lead Sr. Project Manager working directly with our utility client, leading all projects and programs centered around Wildfire Risk Mitigation across various states and CoOps. This individual will have multiple project managers reporting underneath them, where they will be responsible for managing project planning, project execution, reporting, project closeout and communication directly to our client and stakeholders. This role is paying between 67.93-87.54/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, managing wildfire specific programs and projects within the utility industry.

- Bachelors Degree Required.

-Experience building out phase gate approach and processes with external stakeholders from inception to completion.

- Experience leading Project Managers while still performing day-to-day project management responsibilities.


- Proficiency in project management and data analytics tools, including SAP, Business Objects, MS Excel, and SharePoint.

-Experience with creation and distribution of performance, risk, and financial dashboards.

- Experience developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as project completion rate, budget variance, and resource utilization.

- Experience working with stakeholders on budgets and risk mitigation to ensure projects run efficiently.

- Proven track record of continuous improvement processes that increase productivity and program efficiency.


- Ability to identify and implement process improvements within a PMO environment.
