Looking for an Power BI expert to help a Sales/Marketing team get into PowerBI online. This person will set the blueprint- they will understand on prem, how to translate that (models, security etc) to online, set it up, and then be the liaison with the PowerBI COE to ensure they are matching the companies structure and laying it out how the COE wants it to be laid out. They will be the knowledge sharer with their peers between the two teams.
* Expert in Power BI Design and Semantic Models
* Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure Databricks and other relevant technologies.
* Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data from various sources.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
* Optimize data processing and storage for improved performance and efficiency
* Conduct data profiling, analysis, and modeling to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and recommendations.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and processes to ensure continuous data flow and availability.

* Mid to Senior level experience with Power BI Design and Semantic Modeling
* Experience moving from PowerBI Report Server to PowerBI Online
* Proficient in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, Scala, or SQL
* Experience with Azure services, such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database
* Experience with data integration, transformation and orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, dbt, Fivetran or similar
* Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data integration, data architecture and data governance
* Use of tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, Agile, Jira and Confluence or similar
* Can translate business needs into optimized and efficient data models in SQL or NoSQL
* Experience with Dynamics CRM online
* Dataverse experience
Clear communicator to knowledge share between teams, and overall team player with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
* Insurance, Healthcare (payor/provider), or marketing/sales experience with history/projection data
* Medallion Architecture experience
Relevant certifications in Power BI, Azure Databricks or related technologies
