Job Description

An employer is looking for a Project Manager to join one of our top utility clients in the Nation. This person is going to be responsible for leading portfolio financial activities and be a partner to the Data & AI Project Managers and Program Owners. You will own and upkeep a portfolio roster and forecast. You will also be paired with a Project Coordinator to complete Purchase Requestion and Purchase Orders for Time and Material contracts. We are looking for someone who has the comfortability to manage these activities independently and has a really strong financial acumen to build trust with the Program Owners and be a trusting representative of the portfolio. Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role
- 2+ years of Financial Analysis/Management experience
- Advanced to expert level Excel experience; creating pivot tables and navigating all analytics features
- experience with actuals, accruals, calculating variances, invoice tracking, expense reporting, etc.
- Previous experience managing projects with accrual-based accounting
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint software
- Jira experience
- Communicating policy, process, and concepts with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
