Job Description
An employer is seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Systems Analyst to join one of our largest national financial services clients for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you’ll join a growing team and work cross-functionally between stakeholders and developers to ensure roadblocks are alleviated so developers can effectively push out usable code. This is a wealth management client, within a banking & lending application which leverages several external bank partnerships. The ideal candidate comes from a banking background and has hands-on experience working as a BSA within event driven architecture for real time transactions with Kafka. Prior experience working with developers who are building Microservices and APIs from scratch will help you be successful on this team. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire with potential for conversion after the initial 6-month period. This team goes on site 4 days / week, typically Monday – Thursday, therefore you must be comfortable commuting to their location in downtown Minneapolis to be successful on this team.

Required Skills & Experience
• At least 5 years working as a BSA
• Prior experience supporting event driven architecture, ideally Kafka
• Recent experience supporting a banking client (ideally retail banking)- specifically within ACH, payments, and mortgages, and money movement processing
• Prior experience working cross functionally with developers specifically with Microservices and APIs
• Prior experience working cross functionally between business and technical teams to alleviate road blocks for developers
• Ability to write SQL queries from scratch
• Ability to have technical conversations with stakeholders, developers and leaders to drive business forward
• Prior experience supporting developers working with Kafka Steaming
• Prior experience supporting developers building APIs for real time transactions
• Ability to commute to their downtown Minneapolis location 4 days/week
