Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team of architects and engineers in Minneapolis. You will play a pivotal role in assessing project requirements, defining scope, budget, and staffing needs, and collaborating with the design team to ensure successful execution. You will apply your expertise in electrical design to work closely with owners, conducting building load calculations, analyzing power distribution, sizing equipment, and refining specifications. Your responsibilities will also include documenting existing conditions, troubleshooting complex challenges, and developing engineering studies and schematic designs that enhance system performance. Additionally, you will contribute to sustainable solutions by integrating alternative energy sources into electrical distribution, ensuring compliance with codes, Owners requirements, and design standards. Utilizing Revit as a design tool, you will review drawings, maintain quality standards, and support the growth of design staff by providing mentorship and technical guidance.

Professional licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure, is highly preferred
BS or MS degree in electrical engineering
10+ years of experience in the design of power systems for healthcare, commercial and/or government project types
Documented experience with a consulting engineering firm or A/E firm providing electrical design
