Job Description
Our large healthcare client is seeking a Solution Architect to support enterprise application architecture across public cloud and highly integrated platforms. This role sits within an Architecture team that is intentionally hands-off, focused on strategy, design, standards, and enablement rather than direct development.
This architect will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and platform owners to design scalable, secure, and pragmatic solutions across a blended ecosystem of custom-built applications and out-of-the-box platforms, including Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in public cloud architecture, strong integration patterns, and the ability to guide teams through architectural decisions without being rigid or overly framework-driven. This environment favors architects who balance nimbleness with thoroughness and who enable teams to execute rather than owning delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate incoming business requests for technical feasibility, architectural fit, and strategic alignment
Design application and integration architectures across public cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
Develop and present multiple architectural options based on cost, scalability, security, and time-to-market
Create and maintain solution design documents, architectural diagrams, and standardized artifacts
Enable engineering and delivery teams with clear architectural guidance while remaining hands-off in execution
Drive integration strategy across Salesforce, HR systems (e.g., Dayforce), billing systems, and other enterprise platforms
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable solutions
Compensation: $125,000 – $155,000 base salary
