Job Description

Insight Global is looking for two Software Engineering Team Leads to guide existing Scrum teams in delivering high-quality, scalable applications and integrations. These roles combine hands-on technical development (50%) with leadership responsibilities (50%), ensuring alignment with business requirements and engineering best practices.
As a Team Lead, you will own delivery for a subset of applications and integrations, focusing on Salesforce, AWS, and system-to-system connectivity. You’ll lead a team of 3–4 developers, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to design and implement solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

Leading a Scrum team of 3–4 developers, assigning tasks, and ensuring sprint commitments are met.
Contributing to development work (approx. 50% hands-on coding) across Salesforce, AWS, and integration projects.
Designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce, AWS services, and other enterprise systems.
Conducting code reviews, enforcing best practices, and driving continuous improvement of SDLC processes.
Collaborating with architecture and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
Representing the team in technical and business-facing discussions, providing clarity on technical decisions.
Removing delivery obstacles and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

Compensation: $140,000–$150,000 annually with full benefits, PTO, holiday PTO, 401k match, and eligibility for a 3% bonus.

Required Skills & Experience

-5–7 years of software development experience, with at least 2–3 years at a senior level.
Proven experience in the following core areas:
-Salesforce (Apex, Lightning Components, API integrations)
-AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, CloudFormation)
-Systems integrations (REST APIs, SOAP, middleware tools like MuleSoft or Boomi)

-Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and hybrid delivery models.
-Ability to lead a team of developers, delegate tasks, and mentor junior engineers.
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to clarify technical implications and ensure alignment on goals.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Full-stack development background (Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
-Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi).
-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern architecture patterns (microservices, cloud-native).
