Job Description

A local healthcare client is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their IT team. This role serves as the highest technical escalation point for Help Desk and Field IT teams and is responsible for supporting a large, multi‑OS endpoint environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows imaging, endpoint management tools (such as Intune, KACE, Jamf, or similar), automation/scripting, and enterprise desktop support along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:
$35-42 per hour

Required Skills & Experience

-Enterprise IT experience supporting large‑scale environments.
-Serve as Tier 3 escalation for Help Desk and Field IT; resolve complex issues across Windows, Chrome OS, iPadOS, and BYOD environments.
-Perform encryption compliance checks and remediation using Intune, KACE, or similar endpoint management tools.
-Create and maintain monthly Windows images, including OS updates, drivers, and configuration changes (must have prior imaging experience).
-Package and deploy software updates; coordinate with Help Desk teams for rollout support.
-Implement automation and efficiency improvements using PowerShell (additional scripting languages a plus).
-Administer endpoint management platforms such as Intune, Jamf Pro, Chrome Admin Console, KACE, or similar tools for imaging, patching, and device control.
-Manage mobile devices through MDM platforms; ensure secure access and policy compliance.
-Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to act as the final line of defense for technical escalations.
-Excellent communication skills for remote work and cross‑team collaboration, including interaction with leadership and C‑suite.
-Reliable, proactive, and collaborative; prior Help Desk experience highly valued.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with Intune, KACE, Jamf Pro, IBM MaaS360, or other MDM/endpoint management platforms.
-Experience in healthcare environment.
-Familiarity with 50,000+ endpoint environments.
