We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Software Tester to join a Global Research & Development organization. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Starkey's mobile applications and connected software products through comprehensive testing, validation, and quality assurance initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing expertise with leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. This person will work closely with software developers, product teams, firmware engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and support successful product releases. Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related disciplines, preferably supporting mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and software testing principles.
• Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Proficiency with defect tracking, test management, and quality management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Preferred Qualifications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation development.
• Experience testing connected devices, medical devices, hearing technology, or consumer mobile applications.
• Familiarity with mobile application performance testing and usability testing.
• Experience working with distributed global teams.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Prior leadership or mentorship experience supporting QA and testing teams.
