Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience producing accurate and timely reporting of financial information while supporting operations and protecting company assets. Position is fully responsible for the financial and HR of Residential’s operations. Primary responsibilities include the analysis and preparation of accurate and timely financial information to assist in decision making. Establishing and monitoring internal controls is a key deliverable of this position. Position is the financial voice to the executive team to help determine the long-term strategic objectives of the company. Position manages staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.

Duties:

· Financial Statement review including account reconciliation with analysis completed in 5-7 business days after month-end

· Manage internal controls and ensure financial information complies with GAAP

· Manage banking relationships, cash-flow, and finance activities

· Accurate Job Costing reporting

· Budgeting and forecasting

· Oversight of A/P, contractor I-9 and Workers Comp verification, A/R, Payroll, Benefits, HR, Regulatory Compliance, Client Services

· Legal matters regarding personnel or general business

· Collections Management

· Employee Benefit oversight including annual review and management of 401k and Health, Dental, Life Insurance

· Business Insurance – General liability, Liability E&O, Work Comp etc.

· Vendor relations including pricing negotiations, warranties & rebates

· Ad hoc analysis of various business propositions

Skills:

· Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

· 7+ years of related accounting experience with prior management experience

· MBA or CPA preferred

· Previous experience in construction or job costing is a plus

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

· Strong computer skills including MS Office including Word and Excel

Additional software used: Quickbooks Online, Acculynx, Power Bi
