Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a medical device manufacturing company, leading active implantable product development projects as part of the R&D Hardware Design team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience leading technical projects through the design verification testing (DVT) phase and the ramp into production volumes. Planning DVT testing with various SMEs, test protocol development, performing bench testing with standard EE lab equipment, coordinating and tracking test investigations, reviewing and summarizing electrical test data and leading failure analysis activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Medical Device background
5+ years of experience
Experience in product development with a focus on the electrical Design Verification Testing (DVT) phase. Demonstrated success in yield optimization and process improvement. Proficient in data analysis using tools such as Minitab, JMP, and Microsoft Excel.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Medical device background
Implantable device experience
PCB layout experience ideally using Altium software
